I found David on Zillow and thank God I did! We had our condo listed for 6 months prior to finding David and he sold it in 2 months! He not only had our condo listed quickly, but had it posted to numerous sites and his Facebook (which is actually how it sold)! The process of selling was completely easy. We also had David help us find a new home. He was always available to show us homes. We have a schedule that requires 6pm or later during the week or weekends. David never made us feel like we were an inconvenience or that the times were a problem. He even sold us a house that wasn't technically on the market! We always felt like he was looking out for what was best for us and not just trying to sell us the 1st thing that came along. I didn't think we'd be able to afford the area we wanted and surprise! -- we're under contract! I highly recommend David! Very knowledgeable, personable, respectful, accessible and honest. This was my first time buying a home and David made the experience both exciting and easy. One of the most important things to me was having someone explain to me so I could make informed decisions. Not only was David exactly what I wanted he also helped me find inspectors, insurance brokers, and loan officers who were far more helpful than the ones I had already found. Once David and I had met a few times, he got a feel for what I was looking for and zoned in on it. I tried to find houses to look for on my own but was failing miserably. Ultimately I realized that when David said there was something I had to see I knew I was going to love it. I definitely would recommend David to anyone. Being that this was my first purchase I'm glad I went with David. David was very knowledgeable with the whole process and assured me that we wouldn't have anything to worry about, which was very helpful. He went above a beyond several time to make sure the actual sale of my home went smoothly. I would list w/david again! David Stewart was always more than willing to go the extra mile to make the buying process less stressful. He always returned my e-mails and phone calls in a timely fashion and did his best to make sure all was going smoothly. You want your agent to be professional, with a level head, and David filled those qualifications. First time doing business with David, and I was very impressed with how the process went from visiting several homes all the way through closing. David was very thorough in explaining the entire process to me as a first time home buyer; doing so in a way that shows an understanding of what it's like to look at the process as a first timer even though he, himself, clearly has a great deal of experience in the process. He was careful to outline what to expect from beginning to end, the order of events we would pass through and the details on what I would need to do at each step as well as what he would be taking care of for me. He was very orderly and timely in keeping me reminded of upcomming events or what steps would come next, what my next responsibilty was, and able to recommend other key players in the process (lenders, title, inspectors, insurers, etc...) if I needed a recommendation but without trying to push me onto anyone if I already had a preference, and those he did help put me in contact with were equally experienced and always on time with their obligations. David also listened very carefully when I described what I was looking for, sending several good matches all of which clearly met various aspects of the type of home I was looking for. He never wasted any of my time looking at houses that did not somehow resemble closely what I had described. I was never steered into looking at anything that may have been convenient for his agency or colleagues, but that in no way resembled my requirements! David was very patient throughout the experience, showing an understanding of the buyers perspective, which is to really find just the right place, rather than the perspective of a business deal just needing to be closed. I was never rushed to make commitments or prodded to just make a decision. David was very helpful in the short sale of our home. He was very helpful in dealing directly with our mortgage company and made the experience as smooth as possible considering the circumstances of the sale. You couldn't be in better hands! We are first time home buyers and new to the Slidell area. David's extensive knowledge of the area and local contacts were crucial during the process. He is super honest and even more patient. David was attentive to our needs as a family. I can most certainly say as we move into our new home this week that David is a big part of making our dreams come true.
